The Macallan Rare Cask Red Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700mL

Rare Cask as the name speaks has the kind of appearance one would expect from a stronger, all-sherry cask whisky. It’s dark, very dark for scotch, imbued with a clay-red amber hue with 43 % abv.
To the nose, it is elegant, silky, rich with raisins and citrus, with subtler notes of cocoa and nuts.
On the palate, the whisky is full-bodied but still silky. You can flavor sherry-driven, dried fruits sweetness, such as raisins and apricots, enhanced by delicious currents of oak, chocolate, and vanilla.
True to NAS (No Age Statement), the Rare Cask does the talking. A very limited quantity is released but will surely be a hit with whisky lovers who are lucky to get one.
