Sullivans Cove French Oak Single Cask TD0288 Single Malt Whisky 700mL

Aged for twelve years in a 300 litre, French oak  TD0288 is a classic example of the Sullivans Cove French Oak Tawny style. Bottled unflocked and unfiltered at 47.5% abv, this is a whisky for all seasons with the ripe dark fruits of summer, the herbal, leafy notes of autumn, the toasty smoke flavors of winter, and the sweetness and life of spring.

Nose: Immediately captures the attention with ginger snaps and glacé pineapple, deepening to blackberry jam, cherries and apricots in syrup, underpinned all the while with fine cocoa and a dark, herbal note.
Palate:  Toasty, smoky and very thick on the palate with dark, ripe grapes, heaps of roasted nuts and sweet pipe tobacco along with dried apricots, strawberries and musk.
Finish: A lovely mix of earthy, nutty and jammy with lingering orange chocolate rounding back to ginger snap biscuits through to the end.
