Sullivans Cove American Oak Single Cask Whisky 700mL Cask TD0126 @ 69.1% abv  (Rare Cask Strength)

Bright pale gold shading. The nose is controlled at first. Opens immediately sappy, trailed by a major, delicate cocoa-caramel-vanilla note that turns out to be more similar to choc-chip treat with introduction. The sense of taste has stunning delicateness and softness at this ABV, with plume weight flavors, insights of chewy grains and bunches of choc-chip treat. Unobtrusive succulent dried natural products on the wrap up. Finishes up spotless and dry with the grain and dried organic product notes waiting with strong length.
American Oak Single Cask :
“The nose on this one is all apricot, lemon curd, caramel, grapefruit, Nutella and aromatic oak spice. On the palate we find a lovely creamy texture that really hangs on, and flavours of lemon verbena, vanilla bean, stone fruit, malt grain and shortbread. It finishes off with liquorice lollies, fennel seed, marshmallow, blackcurrant, pastry and shortbread. A really textural and warming drop.”
