Nikka Date Japanese Whisky 700mL @ 43% abv

Nikka DATE is an expression straight out from Nikka’s Miyagikyo distillery. It is a blend of malt and grain whiskies produced from the Coffey stills that was brought back by Mr Taketsuru from Glasgow. This particular expression is only available in the city of Sendai, where the distillery sits; and the name DATE was used to commemorate Date Masamune, the famous feudal warlord of Japan in the 15th century.
