This is the latest in the new series of Special Releases, Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare is crafted using irreplaceable whiskies from ‘ghost’ distilleries that have long since closed, blended with other exceptionally rare malt and grain Scotch Whiskies. These special editions will each focus on one remarkably rare whisky from a distillery that shapes the distinctive flavours of Johnnie Walker Blue Label.
Crafted by Johnnie Walker Master Blender, Dr. Jim Beveridge, Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare includes eight hand-picked whiskies. With liquid from the iconic Port Ellen distillery at its heart, this second edition of Blue Label Ghost & Rare features liquid from two other closed distilleries, Caledonian and Carsebridge, as well as rare malt from Blair Athol, Oban, Mortlach, Cragganmore and Dailuaine.
