This soul was refined in December 2005 utilizing malt peated to a gigantic 167ppm. Filled into Fresh Bourbon and Grenache Blanc containers, it spent the following decade sleeping in P2, the old stone distribution center in the town of Port Charlotte, near the western shore of Loch Indaal.
In this second version of multi year old, the remarkable surface of Octomore is lifted further by the smooth, sweet product of Grenache and connects flawlessly with the phenolic profundity. Only 18,000 jugs exist, displayed at 57.3% alc.vol. with a sprinkle of Islay spring water. 18,000 separately numbered bottles as it were.
